He pled this way only to spare his son. Sure he got a much lesser charge with it, but we’ll have to see it here the rabbit takes us in the hole. It’s far from over, and depending on the outcome, will the pardons flow like water?

SPC Margaret Higgins - I hope you have a damned good weekend, and not just this one, but every one! You better have one that's BETTER than mine, and equally as memorable.

My name with friends is Matt (or any other combination of curse words). I consider you a friend. I know on this site that we still use our rank (its a sign of respect), but feel free not to use mine. The name Matt works great. On the flip side of that, I'm asking you to do what I wouldn't and cannot do myself. Even retired, I'm still going to call someone by their rank being they deserved and earned it.

You take care kid!

SSG Warren Swan - Matt, thank you for the honor of allowing me to call you by your first name. I agree, that rank is well deserved and hard earned. Matt, indeed, you ARE my Friend. And, Matt, I am retired as well....And, I most decidedly call military troops by their rank; unless I become friends with them. I love you as my Friend, Matt- Margaret

Thanks for sharing PO1 Tony Holland ""We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately"
Of course the Washington Post editorial staff would post a quip like this :-)
