Did a lot of growing up and all my reserve time in the PNW. Seattle, Normandy Park, Bothell, Redmond, Kirkland, Ballard, Everett and more. Learned to skydive at Kapowsin, reserve unit was at Sand Point Naval Support Station (on Lake Washington). Grew up with the punk/grunge scene. Have been around many of the groups that are known inter/nationally. Starting with Heart and moving up through the Kurt Cobain years. Love the music scene - hate the politics. And walking around anywhere within 40 miles of downtown Seattle feels like Black Friday at the mall...

The Northwest heated up to a war pitch back in 1846 but it is now a great place to visit; that is, unless you live there than it is a great place to live.
