Do Christians need to apologize every time the KKK burns a cross in public? Do they need to apologize for the murder of abortion doctors or the arson, bombing and property crimes committed? Of course not, because even though the KKK and anti-abortion terrorists claim to be Christian... it is not generally considered acceptable to use these terrorist incidents as ammunition against an entire religion. The same goes for Islam, there are some bad people that do some bad things in the name of Islam. Most Muslims however just want to live their lives, and raise their families in peace the same as any other American.
They don't owe anyone an apology for the actions of Islamic extremists... any more than Christians owe anyone an apology for the actions of Christian extremists.
