Social media is tweaking their melons as it is exposing young people to things they are not well prepared to handle. The deluge of negative social media can't be ignored when the suicide rates for our children have increased on average 212% since 2007. I'm betting this is working in conjunction with black box SRRI's as well

Board of the March for Our Lives - “George Kieffer, chair of the Board of Regents of the University of California; Jeri Rhodes, who is with the Friends Committee on National Legislation, a Washington-based lobbying group founded by Quakers; Aileen Adams; who served under former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa; Nina Vinik, an attorney who has a background in gun violence prevention; Vernetta Walker from BoardSource, an organization that provides support for nonprofit leaders; and Melissa Scholz, an attorney who has expertise in nonprofit law.” Deena Katz, co-executive director of the Women’s March Los Angeles Foundation, is president.
The simple fact that a well known anti-gun lawyer as well the co-executive director of the women's march are on the board suggest this is more than just ground swell and something well orchestrated by the liberal left capitalizing on the shooting in Florida in an attempt to cause funding problems for Republicans in the midterms - timing is everything - as well introduce liberal policy - and money - to a demographic that can't even vote yet.
Don't get me wrong - school shooting is tragic however opioids alone killed more people than all gun fatalities - including suicides which accounts for 2/3rds - combined last year. If these kids are so smart, on top of things and know what their problems are why aren't any of them taking about the opioid crisis that's killing way more high school kids than guns?
As well where was the ground swell hiding out the last couple of years in regards to the inner city violence - 17 white kids get killed and its a crisis and resorts in an immediate call to action. Its disingenuous as most victims of gun violence don't die in school shootings, which remain exceedingly rare. They die in our cities and are disproportionately black, not white - I find this very troubling.
