And we wonder why we lose so many Veterans to suicide? Nobody, at any age, can endure seeing that kind of carnage on a daily basis and NOT be affected. Most people would be shocked if they knew how many Police Officers and Firefighters we lose every year to suicide, including very senior officers, who have endured a lifetime of seeing carnage and tragedy every day they go to work.
