That must of been a hard shadow to outrun. I couldn't imagine being the relative of such a person. Some called his the savoir of Germany (prior to the war) others called him a monster... was he both?

Good question. Depends on time and circumstance.. Not to mention the environment of what one is brought up in.

SGT John " Mac " McConnell - That is the problem people view history through modern eyes and not from the historical perspective of the time. We all have opinions, but that has nothing to do with the review of history. The best historians are the ones that can view history without an opinion... but how many of us can view any topic without letting our personal emotions cloud our view?

That is so true SSG Pete Fleming / History is what it is ! One must always keep an open mind of all the information and facts. Sometime's even history is changed with new information that turns into fact. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hitler Spoiled Her but also wanted her Kept in the Shadows. She Loved him Unconditionally till the end I believe. I've seen one or two Interviews with her.
