So many women have pioneered and trailblazed important accomplishments that place us as a gender in a place of prominence and respect. Everytime I read about Penny Tweedy or watch the movie Secretariat, my breath is just taken away. In my estimate and opinion she is right at the top of the list of "Accomplished Individuals" of the latter part of the 20th Century.

Great read, actually saw Secretariat run a race before winning the triple crown, awesome horse with an awesome owner.
