1st a Unified Combatant Command, That makes sense.... But, a separate branch, I am not so sure. If they have a military academy, will those be Space Cadets?

I've heard many experts talk about this, COL Charles Williams, and it seems like the only two people that think it's necessary are President Trump and Vice President Pence. Essentially, everything we need already resides within the USAF. I myself wonder at the necessity of the Space Corps.
