Well since former Army Captain Paula Broadwell had a TS clearance while she was interviewing Gen David Petraeus this seems to be a snow job SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
The former Secretary of State was exchanging emails and discussing in real time very sensitive issues with political operatives who did not have the security clearances and the need to know.
I find it humorous in the black humor sense that POTUS Obama's FBI Director is claiming that sharing top secret documents with his biographer Paula Broadwell who had the appropriate clearance is intentional misconduct while Hillary Rodham Clinton who has been at the highest levels of the Federal government since 1992 as a Presidential spouse who is a highly trained and experienced lawyer is essentially unintentional in a serial manner over any months.

Patraeus's mistress was in no way read on or cleared to see, much less possess the TS/SCI material he gave her. Just having a TS clearance in no way means you are allowed to see SCi/codeword info. Then Patraeus lied to the FBI about having any more TS/SCI material in his possession. The FBI. Had to get a search warrant and found the TS/SCI material, which can only be stored in a SCIF, just sitting in his desk.
Patraeus is a poster child for the high ranking getting off easy. Desite having lied to the FBI in a written statement, he wasn't even charged for that. Despite obstructing the investigation, he wan't charged with that. Despite handing over SCI material, he was only charged with the misdemeanor not the felony charge. And despite admitting that his adultery began while still on active duty, he wasn't charged with that. And then the pentagon decided not to even reduce him by one star for retirement purposes
And as I recall, many here on RP felt he shouldn't lose a star for the adultery, despite the requirement to retire at the last rank you served honorably. So no jail, no affect on his military retirement, just a fine. But somehow all the people saying H illary should be in jail seem fine with P atraeus's level of punishment. Quite the double standard there.

Rep. Chaffetz defends vote to cut embassy security funds
Rep. Chaffetz defends his criticism of the handling of Libyan consulate security despite voting to cut embassy funding. For more CNN videos, check out our Yo...
We are on a fact finding mission and want the truth for the "American People". B*tch please, the only "facts" you want to hear are the ones you deem as factual, and every "smoking gun" is actually a rubber duck. Chaffetz needs to go. You can blame her for something you did, then make it seem like it was Obama's fault? Where is the false outrage over the vote he blamed everyone else for?

The Senator's explanation was pretty lame for sure, but he did clearly state there was no Senate vote to cut funding for security, that particular vote was held in the House of Reps and the Senate voted a 'continuing resolution' i.e., to continue funding at the same levels. I was always somehow under the impression that the Senate had reduced funds for security and that's why there was little to no security at the Consulate and the CIA annex.

Capt Tom Brown - I can see what you mean, but he lost me when he mentioned "Obama army" in Irag then adds contractors. Blackwater has been gone for quite some time, what "mystery army" is there? If he had just came clean and not tried to shift the blame onto another person, but acknowledge his part in the failure, no one would be able to make him look bad. He told the truth, owned up to his part and lets move on. He would actually become what we need in congress...someone who has balls and admits the truth.

Poor Petraeus got Nailed by what the Russians would call a "Swallow Operation" that wasn't even a FSS/KGB Agent but a Journalist and his Personal Biographer.

Gen P was in the end a weak-sister falling for that oldest of noble arts in the book. He was seduced into giving up classified information for the purpose of polishing his own ego in a book. It would take a pretty strong person to resist both temptations presented by a seducer to give up something in order to not only get something, but make himself look good. It appears that HC while reprehensible in many ways did not sink that low or rise that high on the scale of illegality. As the Director said she was unsophisticated in her understanding of classified information and saved only by her own ignorance.

Which, gentlemen, makes it even worse, in my opinion! Good old Hillary is soooo ignorant that she didn't even know that she was not protecting our Nations secrets! Oh and by the way, was that supposed to be her job? I'm sorry guys, I am just not buying it! She knew exactly what she was doing!
