Sad, Scary, Makes Us Start Asking Questions. Good time to Reach out to our Comrades in Arms and do Mental Health Checks. Take Care of Our Own. Make Sure our Shipmates Minds are In Good Places.

It is very sad to hear of such incidents. I come from a background where the Military and law enforcement are respected. I served in the Army. My father served in WWII as Army Air Corp and then in Korea in the Air Force. One of my Uncle’s served in WWII in the Air Force and another Uncle served in the Army. My most famous Uncle served in the Navy and his squadron took out the Japanese battleship at the Battle of Midway. As a DAV after Graduate School, I worked as an in-home therapist for the Marine Corp. I feel deep respect for ALL branches of the Military and have flags for all four branches which impacted my life. What these men did is horrific and TOTALLY unacceptable. I think there is strong possibility that mental health issues contributed to their actions. I think we, as a nation, owe it to our Active Duty and Veterans to provide mental health assessments upon discharge and for Active Duty Members who may be struggling. The killing in this country HAS to STOP and we all have the ability to do something. This website is an awesome way to provide assistance to anyone in need. They just need to ask or we need to ask them.

The veterans who took it upon themselves to ambush police officers some of whom were also veterans brings shame upon the shooters SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
Too many people have been radicalized in the past eight years. The occupy wall street movement lured some protesters and many thugs.
Black Lives Matter is myopic. Many BLM people are probably non-violent; but, too many seem of their constituents want to take vengeance on their own.
Vengeance belongs to God alone.
I look forward to a POTUS who will use the Bully Pulpit to unites us instead of dividing us.
