Preparing For Future Wars Won't Be Easy (And The Stakes Are Getting Higher)

Whoever is elected better consider this article, or listen to some who knows what's going on. Right now it seems like we're heading down a long dark road with no return. Instead of tearing down our Military, they better begin getting funds to increase its personnel and equipment. The rest of the world can see things are going to get worse, so why can't our "leaders" do the same thing. When I discuss this predicament we're in, I feel like I'm beating my head against a steel wall. All of us know what needs to be done to increase our credibility in the world. Our politicians do too. But, who is going to do it, and when is it going to done?

The military needs to shake off the old cliché about “preparing for the last war.”
