MY COMMENT:
It is not the mission of a Green Beret to make statements about how he FEELS about his orders. He has many avenues of redress of his grievances: chain of command, chaplain, medical personnel, his Mamma, but not the press. I question the integrity of this reporting and/or your "anonymous sources." If Green Beret officers made these comments they have broken their oath of commissioning and defiled the Army Values, number one among them: Loyalty.

MAJ Montgomery Granger I served along with the Kurds during 2004, 2005 in Irbil, Iraq. They provided security for Coalition Forces and I feel the same way. A tough pill to swallow.

Certainly. Hooah! There are at least NINE Kurd political/military groups, some have TERRORIST designations. It looks like the Russians my be protecting ISIS-hating Kurds. President Trump has promised to "decimate" the Turks economically should they try to decimate the Kurds in the northern Syrian border area with Turkey. I hope and pray that your former colleagues will be safe. Unfortunately, we work in a dangerous business, with no guarantees, and we follow orders.

My oath of enlistment did not have an * which allowed me to pick and choose which orders to follow. Sounds like some kind of new oath.

MAJ Montgomery Granger That is a lie ISIS is not defeated,that's is one of his many lies along with NK is no longer a nuclear threat. Hundred thousands still remain and are a threat. Pres Bone Spurs number one butt licker Lidnsey Graham surprisingly stated he lied also.
