An absolute gem of historical fact that I didn't know. Thanks for sharing, mang. I love stuff like this. (Maritime history stuff in general. Stuff where someone like her sticks it to the Establishment, even better.)

Now here's a lady train my humble opinion should have received a Presidential Medal of Freedom for the contributions she made! She served her country above and beyond in my book! May she Test in Peace knowing full well she did her best and contributed mightily and not looking for recognition either.
