First, I'm all for peace everywhere. I don't think we have a say in Israel's politics but I have zero problem helping broker peace agreements. I do think we've been at war with hezbollah since October of 1983, when they killed 241 Americans. They were lucky we didn't send them back to before the stone age.
Biden's "don't" obviously fell on deaf ears and the powers in the Middle East knew he wasn't going to lift a finger. So they were emboldened. Israel is paying the price for our milquetoast mumbler.

I disagree. "Theocratic Iran" is not the reason for the blow up in the Middle East. Theocratic Iran existed ever since the Shah of Iran died and President Carter didn't help maintain the Peacock Throne. It was only during the Trump Administration that real progress was made in stabilizing the region. Sadly, Biden tossed out the baby with the bathwater when he entered the Oval Office and began undoing everything without rhyme or reason, that President Trump accomplished.

So many people just fail to understand that this war has been ongoing for thousands of years, long before Judaism, Christianity, or Islam. We have the same combatants, just with different names.
Now we have the Jews and the Muslims, the have's and the have not's. Radical leadership on both sides.
Does anyone seriously have a workable solution?

Were you to ask the combatants, it all goes back to how "Father Abraham" treated his baby mamas, and their sons.

SGT (Join to see) - Following history, I believe it goes back further than that. We have our own history of tribal warfare going back over 10,000 years.

Actually, the Muslims provided sanctuary for the Jews during the diaspora. Jews lived peacefully among Muslims during WWII (with some notable exceptions such as Iraq which adopted Nazi ideology). Jews and Muslims lived peacefully in Palestine until the division, one half for Jews and the other for Muslims, and displaced Jews from Europe began emigrating to Palestine after Europeans prevented them from returning to the homes they had been evicted from by the Nazis. That's the history. Check it out for yourself.

CPT Jack Durish - Great Britian ruled that area from 1914 to 1948. Under the British rule, Jews and Muslims both were second-class citizens until 1948. At that time the Brits pulled out and Israel became sovereign. Immediately upon the Brits departure, the surrounding Muslim nations all invaded Israel with the intent of wiping them off the face of the earth. That particular aspect of their war leads us to the situation today. As an independent nation, Israel has never known peace.
The battle between Jews and Arabs to back at least to 1213 BCE and possibly even further. Religious literature tells the story of Israelites going back at least as far as c. 1500 BCE.
I find no mention to support Captain Jack's claim that they co-existed peacefully at any time, but I may have missed something.
