PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I cannot imagine that a solid kilogram of an inert metal - like gold - in a sealed and protected environment - would ever vary enough in weight to be a concern of persons currently alive!

CSM Charles Hayden Excellent Point, The Amount is Minuscule. Fortunately/Unfortunately I'm a Geek and a Nuclear Cruiser Sailor With a Basic Understanding of Chemistry. All things change to Include "Elements" Uranium becomes Lead eventually in the process releasing Helium and Radon.

CSM Charles Hayden - It Took Us Until Fairly Recently to find out that the Alchemist weren't all together wrong. You can Change "Elements" but it is Just Not Feasible. (Yeah I don't want Overly Expensive Gold that is Radioactive)
