SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Welcome home Brother. Wow! Elizabethton is only about forty miles from my home. I hope they name a bridge or highway after him. R. I. P. PFC Mark Wilson. You gave it all for our country.

Do they cross reference the DNA of the unknowns with active member DNA or do they now get matches from 23 & me, or those DNA companies that do Ancestry ? Or maybe both??
Either way, i think the Mitochondrial DNA should be checked as well. This is to further identify those whose family name has been ended. Whether because of the soldier being killed or natural progressiony

Been to Elizabethton many times, used to have the Scottish Games up there at Sycamore Shoals- starting place of the Over the Mountain Patriot March to fight the Brits. At last, his family and friends will have closure, family ties are important to the mountain folk!
