SSgt Donald Libby I have read a lot of articles on PTSD, but this one addresses many things I never saw in past stories about Vietnam Vets suffering from PTSD. In actuality, this post is almost universal to all our Vets. Super post! Thanks.

The drugs given to Vets while they were having heart surgery backfired. I recall one Vietnam Vet awoke and the veteran next to him was Philipino, his entire family was visiting him. Waking surrounded by Orientals flipped him out. He barricaded himself in a corner. I went in, convincing him that I was a fellow vet. We broke out of the encirclement and escaped to the safety of the PTSD Ward.
