WASHINGTON — U.S. Marine Corps pilots Maj. Brooks Gruber and Lt. Col. John Brow were incorrectly blamed as the primary cause of a V-22 Osprey crash that took their lives and killed 17 other Marines in April 2000, the Pentagon said Tuesday in an unusual reversal clearing the pilots’ names.

The V-22 is still a POS boondoggle as I wrote my senator Al Gore in 1989.
It is good to have this result on the 2000 crash.

How long has it been in the Development Phase, Fallen out of favor because of Mechanical Failures for as long as I can remember with the Marines. Been a Military Industrial Boondoggle for Politicians in Texas (Where it is built) as long as I can remember.
