I remember the 68 charger very well. I was in California in Crypto school at Mare Island, and had orders to Aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge CV-33 out of Long Beach Ca. and we were making prepe to depart to Nam. Saw many of them on the west coat, and thought they were very hot cars... But I was only an E-5 then and very little cash!

I remember a 1969 Z28 color yellow with black racing stripes, when it passed me like I was standing still, I was traveling at 75MPH.
My 1960 Chevy Belair with a 283 and three in the tree couldn't keep up. Lol
