I don't care who you are, shouldering the responsibilities of a nation as President will age you every single time. Doing it for eight years, only speeds up the process. Every President that I can remember since the age of 8, always goes in looking youthful and full of promise and change, only to come looking old as shit!! Albeit success or failure.

8 years followed by additional damage that will be visible for decades and will take many years to slow and reverse and that is if we are lucky to get someone in office who won't further the damage or do nothing to stop it. All good things come to end one day.

TSgt Frank Shirley - The people you are referring to have access to health insurance but precious little insurance for anything other than preventative care, which really was never the cost problem. I am currently gathering information to decide whether or not to try and squeeze out another 18 years but bankrupt my wife or accept a Doctor's prediction that I don't live another 8 years and leave her with financial dignity. I had a good run so I will probably pick 8 more good years and let go.
