Yes, and it is affecting both counties' economies. Climate change will happen because there are Co2 sources everywhere including the Amazon basin, the Mississippi River and all places that have reservoirs.

One of the best things about free speech is anyone can say virtually anything. The worst thing about free speech is that some times your gonna hear some really stupid, "scary stupid" as opposed to "funny stupid" stuff. But at least you will eventually hear enough to decide if you want to invite someone over for BBQ, or hide behind the couch when they knock on your door.

While I do not support extremism or violence of any sort, the environmental movement is absolutely necessary. There must be public concern shown when Mother Earth is endangered.
By the way, this argument has been ongoing a very long time. I got involved when I first saw strip mining and clear-cut logging way back in the 50's.
Jobs can be created. Money can be made. But there is only one Earth. Screw it up and we all pay the bill.
