One would think that the Soviets/Russians would have learned long ago that bigger doesn't mean better.

I served my career on submarines. Never once do I recall a foreign submarine superior to ours. Not sure what a doomsday submarine is, but I do know if they hit us, shortly after, there will be no home to return to. That is assuming our SSN hasn’t taken them out.
