Our enemies use proxies to attack us. The USSR is particularly fond of this but if truth be known, I would not assume our hands are totally clean either.

Perhaps at one time, Charlie, but doubtful today. I remember one time we had access to the timers used in IEDs and could cause them to blow up while being deployed. Our legal beagles ruled against it.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I think what most people are concerned with is the apparent lack of response by the current administration. As other people have noticed, when it comes to Russia the current administration shows a level of deference that does not reflect a concern for our national interest. It's a pretty consistent pattern.

SPC Kevin Ford - you do know Trump killed Russian “mercenaries “ causing trouble in Syria?

I am confused as to why this issue has become so important Now to the House and the Dems...bounties have been placed upon the ‘heads’ of Our Military for a long time...it’s only now that the House is concerned. Why weren’t they concerned during Obama & Biden’s teens in office? Hmmm

It's only an issue now, because the dems think they have another wedge issue to drive between Trump and likely Trump voters.

C’mon, Nancy. You know why. TDS wasn’t a thing five years ago.

SPC Nancy Greene What people seem to be concerned about is that is that it doesn't appear to have factored into any dealing with foreign policy in relation to Russia. The difference between this and prior instances where it are known is it wasn't (apparently) swept under the carpet. Instead it was either with people we were already at war with or we took some type of retaliatory action (economic, military, etc).

What really stuck out to me from the get go was the timing of this leak. It is a little too perfect to be a coincidence.
My guess is that there will be more like this one as the media cycle turns.
