Nothing more fun that to sit back and enjoy a game of nuclear chicken. Putin has threatened to use them in the past like when he invaded Ukraine if he was opposed. In many ways, he reminds me of Hitler when he was expanding Germany in the 30s, pushing the world as far as he can without them going over the top and going to war. But war is different now, when countries can blow up the whole planet and end mankind. I have no answers for what to do, its a scary situation and I have not felt like this since I was a kid growing up in the 60's

Putin is pushing hard and has even stated his naval forces will attack US Naval vessels that would launch strikes on Assad's forces.
That by itself would allow self defense measures against any Russian vessel or aircraft working into firing position.
