Schiff: I have 'grave concerns' over Nunes's surveillance claim

I couldn't agree more Chief. I unlike you however am registered as an independent, always have been. I've never been happy with Republicans or Democrats, and my view has only become hardened in the past decade or so. More and more we see each side vote along party lines even if they don't agree with whatever it is the leader is doing. Less and less are we seeing politicians try to work together for the people. It's why we had so many government shutdowns, it's why Republicans tried to block Obama at every turn for the last 8 years and it's why we are seeing the Democrats trying to block Trump. Each side is so damn worried about being right and winning, that they have lost their focus and forgotten why they are there in the first place, to put the American people first. It's part of the reason I am for congressional term limits, and why I think we just need to clean house. Maybe if they think their paycheck and power are on the line, they'll pull their heads out of their collective asses. Oh, I am also for making lobbying illegal and major reform of campaign contributions.

I feel you, CWO3.......our politics are stuck in this tit for tat mode.......it's all or nothing.....no compromise. Neither major party is willing to break the cycle, and no third party has the strength to do it. I don't know what the answer is......but as a people, we'd better figure it out sometime soon.
