Holding the US Hostage. Nuclear Hostage. New Words, new concepts.
How do we respond to someone holding us hostage? Or a city hostage? Will nKorea dictate what we must do, or send them money so they do not nuke us? How do you feel about your tax dollars going there? Look what happened after Bill Clinton gave $4Billion.

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint Seattle? Pffft. Seattle is Close to where I would Target but it wouldn't be Ground Zero. While I No Longer Have "The Need to Know" from what I can Garner Kim Jong Un has Yet to Test Anything Like the Weight of Nuclear Load. Of Course I Am Concerned about His Success but Thus Far All I Can Tell He is Doing is Teasing Trump.

The NORKS can't really hold anyone but their own people hostage. They can bluster, challenge and threaten but in the end they have to please their master China. As long as they don't actually do anything then they are safe. If they nuke they will pay dearly. China will only defend against us taking NK , if they use a conventional attack strategy they will lose a great deal of hardware and troops with little gain. All the while rocket man will have to be watching for an accident that may happen to him either from within or his neighbor up north.

Rocket man was empowered by our recent weak leadership, I have zero worries about this genetic mistake. The US gets threatened all the time by loonies, nothing new. It may take a slap down to put him in his place but we shall see where this goes once he realizes we don't do apology tours anymore.

Any targeting of ANY US city should be dealt with swiftly and devastatingly, we can;t let the Rocket Man get nukes he would trade them for food, money for him not the starving North Korean people

But he already said he would hit NYC, Wash DC, and LA. I worry that we will forget what he has said the last couple of years, while finishing his nuke and ICBM program.
