As someone who is nearing the end of their contract, I have been looking into very many different options such as cross rating to a different job, apply for commissioning programs, or seeking out a career in the civilian sector of the Federal Government. Started out as a 31M, Reuppeds to become a 15J/13P after 10 years. I was selected for E7 on the same list as some former colleagues who made E6 before me. Was promoted almost instantly. Many of them had to wait almost a year.
