I noticed this on Charlie's Angels remake that came out in 2002 they had Lucy Liu as a Chinese actress which I felt was pandering to the Asian market. So this duffel blog spoof of Blackhawk Down reboot makes sense if you want to cater to Oscar nomination Market supposedly politically correct and then adding an Asian actor as the Medal of Honor winner so they could sell it to the Asian market just like the way Charlie Angels did. It's actually not funny look what they did with the movie Red Dawn originally the bad guys were going to be coming as China but because of their objections they made it North Korea

That is interesting LTC (Join to see). A decade or so ago I was introduced to the Delta Force commander who led the Mogadishu operation. In the Pentagon, it was amazing who you could come across "by chance."
The LTC I was working with at that time was a special operator who had worked with other groups over the years.

It's really sad that they had to borrow tanks from I believe the Indian army since the United States didn't want to be politically incorrect to not bring tanks next time bring at least a platoon of tanks with you even if it's just a humanitarian Mission because you never know when things can go bad!
