Good evening MAJ Bryan Zeski! I believe you are right...the love affair is over and primarily because President Trump would not play Kim Jong-Un's game... He has a habit of giving in so-to-speak and if He gets his way, He will pull back a bit to get what he wants... That said, Kim Jong-Un has met with Vladimir Putin and Kim will, if he hasn't already, commence a game with him as well, playing both sides against the middle... He may even ply his scheme with China as well... In my view, Kim Jong-Un is not about to give up his missile capability even if it means starving his people or worse in the process... and by the way, I am sure Putin has had an impact on Kim's thinking... I doubt seriously if Kim will actually come back to the negotiating table... What say you?

Sgt (Join to see) I agree that KJU has been playing POTUS since the beginning. He was already mission-complete on testing nukes and missiles for awhile when POTUS took over and so it was easy to appear to give in on something while POTUS gave him everything he wanted: reduced exercises to the south and more "blind eye" to sanctions enforcement. All of this great negotiating has really bought KJU at least another decade of being able to oppress his people and be a thorn to the US. At the end of the previous admin, he was hurting bad, and was saber-rattling to scare everyone. The previous admin didn't fall for it. It's a shame that this one did.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - POTUS tried a different scheme to see how far He could get with KJU and when He saw that wasn't going to work at their last meeting, POTUS walked out... We can't continue the back and forth game with KJU holding his nukes... At some point KJU is going to have to be taken out for the good of the world... I feel the same about Iran... They are a loose canon!

Sgt (Join to see) - I get that. It's just disheartening to see that all of the work done by the previous 3-5 administrations regarding NK were scuttled for a "different scheme." We were slowly pushing the NK nightmare into a smaller and smaller corner. Now, they're back on the world stage as a major player.

The key to bringing down KJU is to cut off all outside support - suffocate him. Which is what we WERE doing. Now, we're back to square one with that.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - I totally agree about cutting off all outside support and I believe POTUS has added additional sanctions... Will it do any good, I don't know, but what we don't want is for Russia and/or China to dig in and give KJU what He wants... even for the short term...
