Thanks for sharing Maj Marty Hogan events of April 12.
I found it interesting that ten years after President Franklin Delano Roosevelt died in 1945 of a cerebral hemorrhage in Warm Springs, Georgia after suffering from polio for much if his life; that in 1955 the Salk polio vaccine was declared a success.
The press could keep a secret for national security during WWII. To bad they generally don't do that now.
Many of us grew up taking the sugar cube delivered polio vaccine. I was born the year after the vaccine was declared a success.

Maj Marty Hogan After you post these historical peaks at history Marty you need to go back in and edit the post and add a good picture - that always makes a difference in the post when you have members just surfing the site in the morning - they can still get to the link - just a suggestion my friend to freshen it up! Have a good one partner!

Interesting to note, Maj Marty Hogan, that when FDR died in Warm Springs, GA on 12 April 1945, it was Lucy Mercer, Eleanor's social secretary and FDR's paramour of 31 years, who was with him and not his wife. (Photo of Lucy Mercer, c. 1915) LTC Stephen F.
