First we're told that they defended their property with their "big, bad guns", and now we're told that they are "bad neighbors". What will they use to smear them with next? Do we need to be reminded that had BLM "protesters" not smashed their gate and invaded their neighborhood, none of this other crap would have happened.

The BLM is lucky that they showed restraint and didn't shoot any of the trespassers. Although the woman looked silly the way she was holding the pistol. She is more likely to shoot her husband or herself. Stand your ground and Castle Law would apply in many states.

SGT Brad Baier Yes, it certainly is strong in Florida, and some of our Sheriffs have issued stern warnings to would-be hooligans that we DO shoot back.

So what if they are? How does this justify breaking into their private property, leveling threats against them, and criticizing them for their constitutional right to bear arms and defend themselves?

Look, I am all about reveling in someone's karma when they truly deserve it (good or bad). However, I am also aware that 2nd and 3rd hand information about people (ambulance chasers, hated by the neighbors and HOA...) is no reason to desire or even applaud anguish on another. I don't know these people or what they do. Everything I've read about theme in this short time is all subjective as to whether it makes them bad people or not. I have friends who are lawyers and people how some might characterize as ambulance chasers. I also know they are kind and generous people, who volunteer in the community, and have great families. I can also say that having seen the dynamics of HOAs (especially in gated communities) I know that some people perceive other neighbors very differently, in some cases, for no reason other than they just rubbed them the wrong way once. HOA themselves can be characterized in a similar bad light as ambulance chasers too by the way. In many cases HOA board members can be power hungry individuals who have an agenda as to how they want the neighborhood run. Some want strict interpretation of the rules, some don't want to enforce them at all. How am I going to judge these people simply because their HOA claims they are trouble makers?
In the end, when we allow this stupidity to happen and punish the people who did nothing wrong, all for the sake of promoting a group which too many people are unwilling to question, we invite more of it. What happens when they come to your home simply because they believe you didn't do enough (or better yet, you weren't willing to do enough) to satisfy their agenda? Are they allowed to break down your fence? Your door? Even if they only want to yell at you (of course, you don't know that)? I've had someone break into my home and you know my first instinct was when I saw him coming through the blinds... to grab my gun.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth Sorry? That Kind of Behavior didn't Magically Appear. It Appears to be a Thing with this Couple. Neighbors from Hell would be an Applicable Description.
