I read about Franklin before, Cpl Tom Surdi. Funny to think that the University of Tennessee might well have been the University of Franklin!
That's not totally true, I must confess, Cpl Tom Surdi. The University of Tennessee is in Knoxville (Knox County), which is adjacent to three counties that were in the never to be state of Franklin. However, Knox County was never part of the Franklin effort.
