Just because a person is in old BDUs, it does not mean they are trying to get something for nothing. Any person can go to a town off a military base or even a large city and find a military surplus stores. Houston Texas has several, plus they sale they current ones as well.

I am so sick and tired of people screaming and posting videos of stolen valor when it really didn't happen.

The veteran that was videotaping his own rant was making himself look like the horse's ass by cussing at the woman that was trying to talk to him in a calm rational voice. I think when you are about to confront someone about "stolen valor" you probably should be 100% sure that they are doing something illegal before you make yourself look like the stupid one.

Who is the real douche bag here? I think it's the guy taking the video. It's not stolen valor. These kind of videos piss me off because it makes ex-servicemen look like assholes. If you see a guy wearing combat or service medals they did not earn, that's stolen valor. Wearing a stripped uniform is not. The guy taking the video is guilty of harassment!

Wow! Ok, I have to agree with the civilians on this one. It's not like he was wearing a CMH on his shirt or something. Nothing in the video proves the guy was doing anything except wearing some camo, and that isn't stolen valor. Even if he did claim to be military, making a scene by arguing with the employees of the coffee shop who wanted him to chill because after all, people are at their shop trying to enjoy their danish and coffee makes me cringe as a veteran. You don't have to agree with the coffee shop employee's opinion on the matter, but you really do have to respect that it is their place-of-business and they have the right tell you to shut up and leave if they wish. We veterans served to protect those rights.
