Perhaps those that write such a law should take a bit more time and make it less "vague."

That's what happens when you rush it. They are so damn intent on fulfilling promises that they miss things and are not clear on others. It's been a serious problem for this administration. They don't entirely think things through when drafting laws or policies.

It's not rushed. The law has nothing to do with President Trump. This case started under Obama's tenure.

SSG William Bowen - Yes it did. However, I do believe the law was on the books before that time. (not sure thought).

I am pretty sure it has been on the books a long time. It's just a matter of how one administration chooses to apply or not apply portions of the law.

Not going to make citizens very happy either.

Why on earth would the U.S. want to keep criminals? Should have deported them upon arrest, save the cost of jailing them.

SFC Pete Kain I was a little surprised by the decision. That's why I want to read the decision. Perhaps there is more than meets the eye.

SPC Kevin Ford - I certainly hope so. Otherwise we have a legal system and a justice system is a pipe dream.

This is not a good thing for this country. I think a very large majority of all Americans would agree it is highly appropriate to deport immigrants who commit crimes.
