This is a very biased and misleading NPR article on the Supreme Court ruling.
The ruling impacts all PACs and dark money donations. NPR would have you believe that this is predominantly a conservative issue. Sorry, that is simply not the case. Liberal PACs spend twice as much as conservative PACs (per the research from the independent Center for Responsive Politics). With liberal PAC money representing up to 70% of the election-related spending by "dark money" groups.
The decision by the Supreme Court is spot on, and will pull the veil off all money laundering PAC groups. Organizations like the Clinton Foundation, Soros' numerous 'foundations', and just as many liberal groups (that were oddly not mentioned in the article) will all be effected by this ruling.
I must take issue with the way that NPR tried to make this sound like a one sided issue. It most assuredly is not.

We will continue to have these problems until we get comprehensive election finance reform. Until then we have the best government money can buy.
