Once upon a time I was so depressed I contemplated suicide. After reviewing the various known means I decided that my preferred method would be to swim into the ocean so far that I would have the endurance to return. I began to laugh when I remembered that I was living in Denver. Upon sharing this with a woman also contemplating suicide, she mentioned that her sense of humor saved her as well when, after choosing to slash here wrists, she decided that she didn't like the idea of the scars that would be left. I wonder how many of us have had similar experiences.

SGT (Join to see) - I've been ther too Sgt. Mine was only once and it didn't work either. I thank my God. Recently I lost almost all support from any family, was homeless living in my van and on the streets at my age. It was God that kept me. And like you, the grandchildren I hope to be restored to me some day.

Thank you so much Sgt Bodine. I am now living two states away with my older son. I am better and God is healing my heart. Birthing another ministry in me. I pray He lets me return home. I have laid my will in His. Easy to say, hard to walk. Thank you for caring.SGT (Join to see) -

Don't be afraid to open up. You don't have to talk to a shrink all the time, talk to a good friend that you trust.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth, I'm not afraid to open up. I just don't want to open up too much, all the time, and the subject become boring, coming from me.
