How so? How is DOING SOMETHING to protect kids a bad thing?

I keep hearing progressives say Republicans are only about thoughts and prayers and refuse to actually do something to protect the kids.

Tennessee Republicans did something.

SFC Casey O'Mally there are better ways to protect schools. Arming teachers is not a good idea. What happens when one of the teachers go apeshit on a student who looks at them the wrong way? Or what if a student takes a teacher’s firearm? I know!! Let’s blame anyone else!!

We have seen the catastrophic failure of delayed response by both local police and by SROs. We have seen the catastrophic failure of locked doors and metal detectors. We have seen the catastrophic failure of zero tolerance policies.

As long as she doesn’t teach at my kids schools
