Cuz that’s true? Was it the SB attack where they were saying live on the news this was an extremist attack BEFORE any investigation had even begun? Yet Roof walks into a church and opens fire. No problem except no one mentioned his religion and he wasn’t labeled before the investigation began. Hell placing hate crime status took effort. Why?
Why is it that when a illegal kills ONE person it’s instant news, and requires presidential acknowledgment with a press conference making it seem that they’re killing more people than anyone else....YET it’s been statistically proven inaccurate.
Call it what it is. Racism sells the same way violence, sex, and other illegal acts do. Nothing is ever fixed before someone is hurt or killed. No laws are ever presented and passed before someone is hurt or killed, and it has to be the right person them. We wouldn’t watch the news if all they reported was the truth, good news, and had no slant. If I’m lying count the ‘feel good’ stories and compare them to the ‘regular’ fare. No station ever says this is a ‘bad news’ segment, but ALL announce ‘and in this good news segment’.....

Thanks for this. I agree--I see so much fear around it, and I think it is exacerbated in the news. There is a lot of misinformation out there.
