Quran 2 verse 190 show Muhammad fighting an offensive war when not under attack. This is but one example while typing with one finger on a cell phone.
What is being taught at the War college? Inclusion?
Allah Akbar. Means my, or the god is greatest, or greater. My god is greater than what? All other gods of the Kaaba.
Muhamnad's father and Uncle are named after Su'en. Guess which god Muhammad made everyone worship?
Please get rid of God in the essay. Allah means my god, or the god. It could be replaced with the one true god of the Kabba. Also, get to following Muhamnad, Islam's perfect man, or get a new religion/political system.
Food for thought: Who are innocent according to Islam? Is it only Muslims that can be innocent? Are can Infidels and Jews be innocent too?

LTC Eric Udouj I had the pleasure of attending a lecture series presentation given by LG Richard Harding at my Alma Mater last month. The point of his lecture was the same basis as this article, that the extremists do not fit the mold of "Just War" in the Islamic world. He made emphasis to the point that we, however, are shooting ourselves in the foot because we are approaching the recruiting against extremism in the wrong way - we are insulting the religion, which causes more recruits for the extremist view. If we were to focus on branding them as hijacking the religion as con-men, we would have better success. His basis was around the years he spent there as a child while his dad was stationed in Pakistan, and his time there during his own career.

Perhaps the branding is as "revolutionaries" and not as terrorists - and you can then work to hammer a spike in the cord that now has them tied to religion..

I have longed believed and spoken out about this very thing when it comes to terrorism. I would enjoy some "coffee time" with LG Richard Harding. As a change management professional and Army War College grad. I believe we would enjoy many discussions along the lines of NOT attacking a religion, but attacking a culture of radicalism using terror as a tool.
