Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs I think you were reading my mind this morning.
Rehab for me is difficult because I want immediate results. I want to push through and make it happen and be where I want to be. But it doesn't work that way. It always is that the first week or two things look like they are standing still and then there is this sudden jump forward. In truth, progress was being made daily but in small increments and then when you are far enough along you look back and you see how much progress you have actually made. Is there something that you are working on that you have thought about giving up on because you are not seeing the progress you want? Maybe it is time to revisit that project or effort and see where you actually are in comparison to where you started? The things that are worth accomplishing are rarely done overnight.

I pray that you take time to ponder and reflect and not rush headlong, my friend and brother-in-Christ SP5 Mark Kuzinski.
Heavenly Father, YOU know what true progress is in terms of the sanctification of each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters.
I pray LORD that each of us will be patient with others as well as ourselves as we evaluate progress. Give us wisdom dear God to recognize the true value of each person we come into contact with and remember that we are each a work in progress.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Left foot, right foot, left foot...“Passion. Purpose. Progress.”
“A bit of advice given to a young Native American at the time of his initiation:
As you go the way of life, you will see a great chasm. Jump.
It is not as wide as you think.” ― Joseph Campbell
Good Day RP Friends!

Great One Today, Mikel! COL Mikel J. Burroughs! Progress takes patience. I usually have it with my photography; but not when I fail repeatedly. I used my "photography patience"; however, this morning: and just Persevered until I got three of my shots. Two I didn't get. I chalk that up to progress-in-motion; if you will. "I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us." --Romans 8:18
Progress produced my cover of "My Way"; such that my psychiatrist said to me about my cover: "That was great!" Progress motivated my Reverend friend to say to me: [Your singing] is "amazing, well articulated", etc., etc. :-)
PROGRESS PRODUCED ALL OF YOU; AFTER ALL!
WITH MY TUMBLING OVER ITSELF LOVE FOR YOU ;-) - Margaret
