Good Wednesday morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs and an interesting topic.
Those of us who are going through rehab or recovery understand this quite well. Each day I celebrate the ability to do something I couldn't do the day before, walk a little further, hold the plank a little longer, whatever it might be. The same is true for life in general. We celebrate our children's first steps and every one that they take after that. We celebrate their first teeth and then as they lose and replace them. Life is made better by the celebrations of small things.
Watch carefully today. What small victories can you celebrate?

And looking back sometimes it was the small victory that ended up with the biggest impact.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - and a great "Wednesday" morning to you as well or should I say straight up noon there on the East Coast Charlie! Life's celebration and victories is what it's all about. You provided some great examples and we can make many more for our veterans and service members with small, but menaingful vicotries each day Charlie. That is what you and I are charged with. You and Tom enjoy your afternoon as you create more small victories on your journey through life Charlie! Thanks for the awesome response and quote today!

I pray that you and I encourage each of those dependent on us especially the immature in age or faith, my friend and sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
LORD I pray that we would each honor YOU by loving each of those YOU bring across our path. Build compassion in each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters.
Help us dear God to leave honor to others unless YOU lift us up. Help us to be team players and to contribute as we are able to building long-term victory in whatever we put our mind, hands and feet too.
Help us dear God to honor the humble, the compassionate, the destitute, the crippled, the ill, and the imprisoned in this life. YOUR Word teaches us that YOU are found in each of these circumstances. YOU admonish us to love our neighbor as ourselves and remind us that our neighbor includes our human enemies.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good Wednesday Morning, COL Mikel J. Burroughs!!! Thank you for this wonderful topic...
As the old saying goes, "Rome wasn't built in a day" and I followed that theme pretty much all of my life... As I read all of the quotes in today's repertoire, I chose two of those excellent quotes in today's repertoire and added one that I believe puts everything in perspective in a very broad sense.

1) "Success is rarely the result of one swell swoop, but more often the culmination of many, many small victories." — Joseph M. Marshall III

2) "You don't have to achieve it all at once, let the small victories define you and your accomplishments!" — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

3) "The historic ascent of humanity, taken as a whole, may be summarized as a succession of victories of consciousness over blind forces - in nature, in society, in man himself". Leon Trotsky

Have an awesome day, my friend!
