Happy Thanksgiving, my friend and brother-in-Christ Maj Robert Thornton.
Heavenly Father, thank YOU for all YOU do for each of us continually. YOUR love sustains each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters.
I pray that YOU bless each and every one who reads this post, throughout the rest of this year into next year. Empower each of us to be thankful, kind, compassionate, and helpful.
I pray that our thankfulness will be demonstrated even as love is demonstrated better by action that mere words, alone.
Help us to listen better and to be peacemakers at extended-family gatherings and among disparate groups of friends throughout this winter season.
Let joy and peace reign at our fellowshipping times with family and friends and may anger be nipped in the bud and dissipated instead of being buried to simmer.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Sgt Deborah Wilber - 1st Happy “day” of gratitude, 2nd how many military members are NOT home with family today? Curious how many are fighting “war on terror” and how many are standing strong protecting that “border” . May we for a moment send them all a mother bear hug?
