With deepfakes one is able to have HRC, Trump, Wendy down the street, on video saying whatever you so desire. Another option is to use the newer semi-AI driven face generators which I am sure will get to full motion video shortly.
Since blockchain is not yet accepted and can still be hacked, that is only a partial solution. I am hoping that the blockchain scene goes deeper into security aspects here quickly!

SSgt (Join to see) Exactly so. Blockchain can and has been hacked. Cryptocurrency is currently the target of choice but as you say, there is no reason to think that when the political stakes are high enough blockchain used to verify video won't be a target too.
