The End of Strategic Patience

This brings to mind an old t-shirt. Two vultures sitting on a branch and one says to the other "Patience my ass, I want to kill something." The problem here is you can only stand on the sideline so long. We have allowed this madman to much freedom to get away with this. Fatboy got what he wanted in 99. Sanctions lifted. I also got a good laugh earlier in the week when he said Trump's words have caused an increase in military volunteers. Wow, I didn't know they had an all volunteer army. Lol. Not.

I think the words and style employed by President Reagan against the former Soviet Union have been overlooked.
President while using strong rhetoric allowed for the opportunity to save face by coming in from the cold for the Soviet Union.
He didn't just call them an evil empire he pointed out why. In doing so he found the good in Gorbachev's heart.
Trumps style I see as being more of as being a spoiled brat bully. He leaves no room for saving face and no room to appeal to a persons more thoughtful side.
He is getting what he asked for from Kim.
I see President Trump as a nightmare for psychological warfare advisors.
He is to fast to throw his own spin on things and go off script.

I just hope we approach this with eyes wide open and not invest too much into military action or apeasment.
