The Baedeker Raids or Baedeker Bombings took place between April and June 1942. SGT John " Mac " McConnell - One of the Places I worked while Stationed in London was RAF Eastcote, Noted during WWII as one of the Facilities for Code Breaking, At some other time it was a Repository for Museum Specimens. Needless to say that in the Dark Recesses of where my Office was there were the Occasional Specimens in Jars of Formaldehyde.
