The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol is calling it "the Big Rip Off."
It says the Trump campaign took $250 million in donations from supporters that it said would go to an election defense fund to pay for legal fees to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. But the fund was never actually created, Rep. Zoe Lofgren, one of the committee members, said Monday in the panel's second public hearing.
Instead, the money went to the Save America PAC, she said, and the money went from there to several pro-Trump organizations which are headed by former officials close to the Trump circle.

Based on his history, it is not surprising that the funds were said to be for a fund that doesn't exist. On top of that, dollars were diverted to funds unrelated the purported cause

OK the money issue is a totally different issue than the Jan 6th issue. Dems are attempting to divert and cause confusion from the subjecty at hand. They know it is a full up dog and pony show inorder to stir up votes for the midterms so they are throwing anything they can at the wall in hopes that it will stick. Good luck!!! If you want to chase the money then do it at another time and keep on wasting my tax dollars as you are currently by not doing the business we sent yo uto DC to do!!!
