Thank you PO1 William "Chip" Nagel, for that powerful piece of history regarding the atomic bomb and the Manhattan project... It was an horrendous bomb, but it ended WWII! I watched the first 10+ minute video segment, went to the 2nd, then the 3rd, 4th and 5th... A bit long overall, but I skimmed through parts of some segments to shorten the time viewing, but it was an outstanding documentary!!! I was impressed to no end... Heaven help us if one of these bombs or one more advanced is unleashed on any Country or any Nation...

Sgt (Join to see) I Jokingly Say "I Bloody Well Glow in the Dark" which isn't far from the Truth. I was Born in North St Louis not Far from where they dumped the Leftovers from the Manhattan Project, Toddler there Sprayed with Zinc Cadmium Sulfide as Part of Army Project LAC. Served on 2 Nuclear Cruisers and on the 1st I was Part of the SAS Team (Nuclear Launch Codes). Needles to say I have a Fascination with Everything Nuclear to include a Basic Understanding of the Chemistry. I think I also have taken every Nuclear Response Course On-Line that FEMA has.
