Thanks @MSgt Michael Bischoff. I believe in the One, Almighty God, as maker of heaven and Earth. I think He made the moon, and just the right size. The article made some claim that Earth and Moon should be considered a binary planetary system because the Moon is nearly 1/3 "the size" of the Earth. First, there is no recognized Astronautical term or definition for a binary planet system. In Astronautics, mass is king because mass defines the nature of the orbits between heavenly bodies. Earth is about 81 times more massive than the Moon. The Moon orbits the Earth, not the Sun. So the Moon is not a planet. But it does give us wonderful tides, and a beautiful "Harvest Moon" this time of year, and awe-inspiring eclipses.
