Through His bravery He certainly proved His value to the US Army, His fellow Soldiers and the United States. He earned His citizenship through that military service and willingness to serve in time of war without question. There was no handout here, He worked for his citizenship and proved Himself to be worthy. My salute to this hero !

I wonder how many of his trench mates asked about his citizenship? Not many, I would wager.
