I'd double the price! Don't care if it's got weapons or not. I've still got a few shipmates I call family that would join me on a cruise up and down the coast, plus some AF, USMC, and one Army->CG brothers at my current job. Only question now is, where can I get my own?

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I believe San Clemente is just North of Point Mugu Naval Air Station right? I already looked for you but that was a month ago when I went to Point Mugu to do some weapons qualification and it's weird to have your ranges for 9mm and M16 M4 be right there on Highway 1 on the beach itself

Ummm... no it won't. While it sounds like a great thing for the PI, the ship is old and has no weapons. These old ships would not be even the slightest speedbump to the PLAN.

LTC (Join to see) - They will get weapons for them, but the weapons are not top of the line. 1st or second gen at best, the ship because it is old will cost much more to run and maintain then they thought. Consequently, it will not be at sea much. A ship in port is a target, not an asset. It is like running the Daytona 500 with a 1968 VW Bug. Sure, it is a car with a motor and 4 wheels, but it can't compete with the race cars.
